BWR 39H was my First motor. It was taken off the hands of my parents as soon as I passed my Driving Test. (Well thats not strictly true... As soon as my feet could reach the pedals would probably more accurate!) It had a Ford Transit Di engine fitted and numerous other modifications!
I am trying to find this motor so if anyone knows its were-abouts please log on to motors reunited (the web site can be found under the links section)

Soon to follow was a 'Little' restoration project in the form of this lightweight! It took a lot of work and many evenings in the pub thinking about the work!

This was my first Range Rover - After allot of hunting down finding the perfect motor I ended up with this one... I had it for all of one week before a better one came along!

This was the better one. It was not long in my hands before the modifications and upgrades started. I rebuilt a faster 3.5 engine for it, which lasted a couple of years before being changed for a 3.9EFI engine out of a late classic. This engine lasted a further year before cracking the block! It was then replaced with another 3.9 engine which ended up being changed back to a 3.5 one with 3.9 injection system for racing.

This has to be my best motor by far. The Range Rover has had a few modifications like up-rated springs and a set of bilstien shocks fitted. I have fitted a QT Diff guard, Stainless steel Rimmer Bros Exhaust and designed and built my own bumper with tow point. It drives excellently and handles perfectly both on and off the road. It spends a lot of its time towing the racer to meetings and I used to have a 4.3litre speedboat, which we towed up to Windermere most weekends that I wasnt racing.

My first Racer. This was an ultimate off Road racing machine. The engine was pulled right back for better balance when jumping. It had 8 Bilstien shocks fitted; the radiator was mounted in the back so the engine bay could be sealed from water. I fitted a 3.9 injection system to the 3.5 race engine and many more modifications were undertaken to make this great, fast fun off road!

My most expensive Vehicle yet! Not only was this allot of money to buy but the repair cost were drastic! After buying the Range Rover I found it was littered with faults - Where do I start? The suspension need a new level sensor and then a new air suspension pump, the air con climate control required re-gassing only to find the condenser was leaking. The door latch needed replacing (a minor job you might think) I needed to buy a complete computer with latch mechanism just to stop an error message saying that the door was open when driving along. There were a number of other faults that required money and attention too. When the Range Rover was working correctly it was fantastic. It's new 4.6 gas converted engine had plenty of power, It would cruise on motor ways like no other car I have been in and there were more electrical gadgets to keep any one amused for hours. Unfortunately it didnt last long and now the money I got back from selling it are supporting me in getting a private pilots licence!

Having started out my driving years with a Diesel I find myself back in the relms of that Diesel knock once again. Bought in March 2009 this Disco is a much required addition due to my expanding and growing family! The Disco will also earn its keep towing my 90 Racer to events too and may even find itself out on the hills with a spot of green laning...
