Pitures of the 90 in action!

Fancy a crazy picture of your motor...? Check out my friend at www.paint-splats.com

This page is dedicated to pictures of the 90 Racer in action - I will keep adding pictures as I receive them and after events.

Unloading the 90 at Hutton Conyers - 19th September 2004. The first outing!

Image:

Queuing for the start line. There are 3 seeding lanes - Red, Blue and Green. Red is for the very fastest motors and Green is for the slower ones. You have to decide where you rank so as not to hold up some one that is faster than you. The motors are set off at 1-minute intervals.

Image:

On the start line! - There is a traffic light start for you and the timing equipment. As the red light goes out, the amber light counts down in 5 sectors (each being 1 second) and then it’s green and away...

Image:

Cornering hard at Hutton Conyers. Even with 8 Shock absorbers fitted the 90 still rolls at high speed!

Image:

Having a brother-in-law that’s a pilot - I showed him that you don’t need wings to fly!

Image:

75Mph over this terrain makes the slightest of lumps launch the 90.

What goes up must come down!

Not racing this time - Being used to pimp Galaxy 105 Radio. By doing this Galaxy 105 are sponsoring me for the next race!

Driffield 24th October

A classic all weather site. Expect plenty of water and loads of "air" as the competitors leap and splash their way around this dramatic "lunar" landscape

A return to the military testing ground which provided such a spectacular finale in 2002. Hard tracks and water splashes and some wicked yumps make this one a good choice for spectators.
The terrain is typically military, only the MOD can take a disused airfield and sculpt it into a testing and entertain off road site. Steep hills and "knife-edges" abound as well as the hard perimeter tracks and some deep water. Even a handful of sealed surfaces are included in the course to provide a bit of variety. There is not much beats a blast up a runway, before heavy braking into a ninety left onto slimy chalk!

Harnesses on and intercom plugged in just before another run!

Just 6 miles to go... We managed to reach speeds of upto 90MPH on this track!
